It also has a remote control so it's easy to control the temperature from bed. It's much cheaper than running the central AC. We also use a ceiling fan.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865120441831183299.post-72164813651384345422010-06-12T01:52:17.234-04:002010-06-12T01:52:17.234-04:00A very cheap way to do black out curtains is to fi...A very cheap way to do black out curtains is to find some of those $1 shower curtains and the clip rings.. then clip them between the curtain hangers onto the rod.. they will pull with the curtain.. and then cut them to length. I have even put it into the freezer for a few minutes just prior to going to bed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865120441831183299.post-14945541377629364952010-06-10T11:43:30.825-04:002010-06-10T11:43:30.825-04:00I'm in agreement that I can't afford highe...I'm in agreement that I can't afford higher energy for cold bedrooms. As long as indoor humidity isn’t stifling, they can be quite effective. Just remember that a fan cools people — it doesn’t actually reduce room temperature — so turn it off when you leave the room.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15400481464898890052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865120441831183299.post-68948750691160685942010-06-10T06:58:54.590-04:002010-06-10T06:58:54.590-04:00We're having a high enough electric bill durin...We're having a high enough electric bill during the summer trying to keep the bedroom at 78 or below, much less 68.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
